Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who loved music. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she began more intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing keeps her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
